In his professional activity, he has represented individuals and corporate clients in criminal proceedings since 1995, including arrest or pre-trial detention measures, seizure and confiscation of assets in criminal proceedings, and compensation of unfair detention.

He has extensive expertise in crimes against property, crimes against the person, business and financial crimes (e.g. serious fraud, cross-border crimes, money laundering, counterfeit and forgery, bankruptcy fraud, tax crimes, embezzlement and corruption, and criminal offenses affecting the financial interests of the European Union), cybercrimes and personal data, crimes related to drug dealing and drug trafficking, organized crime,maritimes crimes, wine and agri-food law related crimes, juvenile crime.

He is a defender of victims, offering assistance in complaints and civil parties’ statements for both individuals and corporate clients in criminal proceedings, seizures requests, defence investigations, and private prosecutions.

Due to his law practice, he has developed expertise in international defence and protection in the field of Extradition and European Arrest Warrant, International and EU judicial cooperation in criminal matters (included European Investigation Orders, and European Public Prosecutor Office proceedings).

He has twenty-five years of experience in the protection of rights of detainees and persons deprived of liberty, specifically guaranteeing the correct application of the contents of articles 3, 5, 6 and 7 of the European Convention of Human Rights (prohibition of torture and inhumane or degrading treatments, right to freedom, prohibition of arbitrary arrest and detention, fair trial, no punishment without law) and additional protocols regarding Criminal and Immigration Law by lodging applications to the Italian Criminal Court and to the European Court of Human Rights.
